The EPA Implementation Unit in St Kitts and Nevis (SKN) has a new Project Coordinator – Mrs Shelley Ross-Chaderton. Shelley, a SKN Diplomat, served for seven years at the Embassies of the Eastern Caribbean States accresdited to the Kingdom of Belgium and Missions to the European Union. She was mainly responsible for European Union-Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific (EU-ACP) Trade and Commodities (sugar and bananas), La Francophonie. She also served as the European Union-Latin America and the Caribbean (EU-LAC) Summit Coordinator for the OECS Member States.
Shelley was intimately involved in the EU-ACP Negotiations on the Economic Partnership Agreement and the EU-CARIFORUM Negotiations. She has a post-graduate Diploma in International Trade Law from T.M.C. Asser Institute for Private and International Law, The Hague, The Netherlands,a Masters Degree in International Relations, a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and post-grad Diploma in International Relations.
Fluent in French, Spanish and Italian, Shelley is also an avid tennis player who enjoys gardening and playing the piano.
